Jack had only been back home for a day when he heard that Adam had woken from his Coma. He had also heard that due to a series of events Adam had become the minister of magic. This news helped Jack to decide that he should go see his old friend. A friend that had once saved his life. He would also need to talk to him about the man that had followed him back. He knew that Adam would want to hear where he had been, and what had become of his uncle. He wasn't to sure how the information would go over, but it was something that had to be done. He walked through the atrium at the ministry late that night. He didn't see a single soul about, but he paid no attention to this. He got in one of the elevators, and he took it to level one. He knew where the ministers office was so it took him little time to get to the door after getting off the elevator. He took a deep breath, and knocked.

Adam had moved into the minister’s office, not really by choice, taking the deputy position was a huge leap for the once slow moving and go with the flow man. However as many things have changed as of late Adam had to change too. With his own destiny questionable, he had no longer the same views of his position in life, and for the first time working not just for others, but for himself as well. He had just learned another detail about the case that he found different and intriguing, the magic used was too simple to have worked, thus something bigger was going on.
It was one thing to have a new development, but no leads and no way of knowing what was going to be next in this case was stressful. They had no suspect, and no leads on who had done the crime, and nothing more had developed. However these where only the big picture problems that he had, still working on passing legislation, and of course fixing the damage that king jack had done.
Then before the knock on the door was heard Adam sighed, he knew who was on the other side. It was not hard to see that he had grown since his professor days as the door opened, and Adam was in Ministry robes with the Deputy Minister badge, he still had not taken the full position of Minister, even if everyone else had considered him the Minister. “Jack, I see you have returned, though I am sure your wife already gave you a lecture so I will try to avoid such things. Come sit, would you care for a drink?” Adam said knowing that Jack likely had something important, and not so fun to tell him. He rarely gave good news.

Jack gave Adam a kind smile. He entered the office gracefully. His walk was different from the wayit had been before. "A drink would be great thank you Adam." He said in a much deeper tone of voice. He sat down in a chair and looked to his old proffessor. "I do have bad news, but I have good news as well. No I have not inherited my uncles power. I just have a pretty good handle on legilamency now. First let me say that I was happy to find that you had come out of your coma while I was gone. I will not press you for information it is your business to give out at your own discression." Jack sighed loudly. "Nico was very upset with me as I am sure that Kris will be, but this time it was not my doing. I saw Laura die fighting Flamjelous. My uncle appeared at the moment her heart stopped beating. He had obviously lost it, and I feared he would take out his anger on Laura's enemies. I feared for Nico's life. So when he opened a portal I followed him through it. He went back in time to before his father had even heard the name Potter. Then he changed the past, and I was unable to return here. Every tim I tried to go to the present it was the present time in a completely different world. You do not want to know the horrors that this world held. All you need to know was that I was in this world for a very long time. The only way out was to kill my uncle before he changed the past. Needless to say Jack Pitch Riddle is finaly dead once, and for all, but I fear that I did not return from that twisted world alone. I was followed."

(ooc: I have done huge things with time travel, so Adam is really going to be nit picky about things.)
“Well, you make have a good handle on legilaments, but your uncle could never read my mind, your presumptions of my mind are well based in non magic means.” Adam said, being the active minister was a good reason to block his mind at all times, where prior to that he did not block it often or at all. “My coma was really giving me the chance to help out a much needed elemental, whom had become lost.” He said not going any further, for that is what they where all told, he never spoke of Serenity, nor of what they had come to learn over their time in the mist.
“You should know my stand on time travel, it has never been one of good faith, and now as a ministry official I have been working to block time travel, so it is indeed lucky you have returned as you have. As for your follower, I will need to know some details about this alternate reality, or time warp, however you wish to put it. In order to know what we are standing against.” Adam said, all business, no longer the full caring man he was, but that was also still there too.
Adam was in fact disappointed with Jack, and he knew that he had spent a far amount of time…time away from home and in alternate time lines. However time was a very dangerous thing to mistaken. “And when did you kill your uncle as well.” Adam had to get all the details, in order to make the proper judgments. Once he presented a well known and prestigious man, while he was still those things his demeanor was far different as he was a working man, working to better all people, no longer just elemental abilities.
“Forgive me Jack.” Adam said looking at him, “I am glad you are back, but while you have been traveling much has happened. I fear that this time line may not be the same as you remember.” Adam said, knowing that time changing events could happen at any moment, any day or to anyone. One small change in the past could present a very different outlook for the resent. One thing was also a concern, was that this was the Jack Riddle of their own time line, and not one that had mistaken it to be there’s.

Jack shook his head sadly. "I will tell you of this world, and of my follower, but it will be the last time I ever speak of that dreadfull place. My uncle never told Voldemort who he was only that he knew the future. He stood as an advisor to the darkest wizard to ever live, and he made sure that voldemort lived this time around, and that his enemies did not. He killed you, and your family when you were just a child. He killed Dameon Cross Nico's father when he was only a small boy. Nico was never born. Potter was killed as a child buy muggle means. Voldemort won the war, and he only had one child. That child was the spawn of the dark lord and Bellatrix Lestrange. He goes by the name Jon Lestrange. The name Riddle is a name that can not be uttered aloud or you will have so many death eaters on you it is rediculous. Most of the people here that we spend our time with did not exist in that world. It was a dark, and disturbed place. A place that has made me afraid to ever travel through time again. As for when I killed my uncle you could say it was yesturday as it was to me in my mind, but really I killed him eighty years ago. At the beggining of voldemorts rise to power. Jon Lestrange is the man that followed me. He followed me from present time in that world into the past I saw him after I killed my uncle. Then I left, and he came out of the portal right behind me. He disaparated before I could react. He has all of his fathers powers, and he is just as crazy as his mother. The difference is he doesn't care to be the leader of anything or anyone. He will seek out the most twisted person he can find, and he will work for them."

Adam listened with a very well level of concern. Jack had never been the best with words so he did not expect mush more then the raw details, and that is in fact what he received. White this other timeline was indeed different, Adam recognized some flaws as well. True Jack P. going back to give advice to Voldemort would make one things very different, however with other timelines open still that meant that Jack P. could still surface. Then with Jacks confession of the murder, yes it was murder non the less, Adam looked displeased.
“Jack, you are so young, and so very inexperienced in the ways of time travel that you have forgotten so much of the fundamental rules.” Adam begins. “Killing Jack in a time that was not his own changed the course of things, and I fear that this may not be your current timeline still. AN altered time line creates a second, parallel universe, that only one who has lived both can tell there is something different or wrong.” Adam said. “If Jack P. had been killed eighty years ago we would have already known such in this time, however his body was not found. More so any one you interacted with, Jon Lestrange for example cannot live in this time line long for his existence is not real.” Adam had spoken too much and could continue to explain how these things work; however it was best to keep them simpler for Jack.
“You returned here, at a later time then you left. In order to return to the same timeline without alterations, I am afraid you are too late.” Adam said plainly. “While I am very pleased you have returned, you must not expect all things to be as you have remembered.” Adam knew that there was no way that the same person from two timelines could exist in one for very long, thus if Jack had not returned to the moment before Jack P. jumped into the portal to kill him, it would never be the same, nor would he. It was a complex and very difficult place to be, that most would never even understand, or accept. However their Jack, Adam assumed would not return, for this one will take his place. As for Jon Lastrange, Adam knew that things would work out, but had to have some ground cover for some time.
“You are more then welcome to speak to me anytime. For what I have just told you is nothing of good news, except this. You will not be concerned with the man Jon Lastrange, for a time traveler cannot go unnoticed.” Adam said and was sure that he had the grounding for a ban on time travel, it was big magic, but it protected them from so much.

Jack stood up quickly from his chair very confused. His frustration was obvious. "I kind of get what you are saying, but at the same time it is very confusing. I think that I need to go home, and rest. Tomorow I will hae to go, and tell Cat that I killed her husband. As for my uncles body you have not found it, because it is in a place you would not have looked. He is burried in the grave yard at Godrics Hollow. The name on the stone is Zachariah Pitch. You will be hard pressed to get to it though. It's twenty feet deep, and encased with cement until it reaches six feet. I wasn't taking any chances of him being brought back, and I would preffer it if you left his body alone. You never know what tricks my uncle has up his sleaves. As for Lestrange if you want to go after him so that I do not be my guest. I have been away from my family for far to long. I want nothing to do with any war going on now or in the future. I want to grow old with my wife, and watch our children grow up, and their children after them."

Adam expected confusion, and even more so he had expected anger to come from Jack but as he had noticed the man in front of him was not the same as he once was, and thus made is farewell the best way he could. Adam knew that his words were confusing, but it was one thing that time would show to be true.
“I understand Jack, and please take your time. I will be working late here at the Ministry. If you are in any need of assistance I am always willing to give a helping hand.” Adam said to jack as he feared things where not all that easy to understand these days. Once someone had traveled in time like he had, it was going to be difficult indeed. He did hope that his family would accept him in, and they would be able to move on.
As for looking for the body of Jack P. Adam had no plans of such, for the grave in question was not one of concern. Nor searching out a man that many presumed would not return here to London any time soon. However he did have to work on finding this other man known as Lastrange, for his presence was not a good omen for their time or land, he would offset the balance. Time turners worked a different way then time portals, thus creating that altered time line.
“You return to your family, and please rest. Things will turn out much better soon.” Adam said knowing that things that had to do with time would adjust. As this man was now standing as Jack Riddle he would assimilate and become the man he once was. In a later time Adam would offer a memory charm to him, but at the moment it was best for him to remember. To live both lives as one.

Jack looked at Adam as he spoke, and he could see that the man actually cared about the people. Not just those that he knew. "Thank you Adam, and not just for this for everything you have done for my family. You will always be welcome at my house. I consider you to be a good friend." Jack walked over closer to Adam instead of towards the door. "I am sure you will see soon that much has changed with me. Living in a world where all those that mattered to me did not exist has tought me to apreciate them all the more, and I'm a good bit calmer. I highly doubt that I will ever see horrors in this world that can compare to the ones I saw in that world. You'll be a great Minister of Magic. Infact I wouldn't doubt it if some thought you to be the best. You will do alot for our people I have a good feeling about it." He held his hand out to Adam. "Until we meet again."

Jack had defiantly grown up a lot more over the time then one would think. While things looked like they were going to work out for the best Adam still had much more on his plate. Jack being back was indeed good news as he was an intergril part of the Riddle family, and there where many that needed and counted on him. Adam did hope that he had intentions to fully follow his word and not get involved with this battle, or those involved. However in his nature Adam had to belive that Jack could fall into his old ways.
“Good day Jack, and best of luck with your family.” Adam said before Jack had left, and his work had just begun.
“I will need Mr. Adams in here please.” He said to Janet his secretary on a voice system. He was about to debrief him on the Minister, and the newest development, a man called Jon Lastrange.
