Christy was in her office, in the green house getting ready for the up-coming school year. She couldn't wait for it to begin, she had an exciting year ahead for her students. The good thing about being a Faerie she was good with plants, not so much with animals all the time, so she stuck with being a Herbology professor. She was glad to have a job and not being a ruler of her people. She knew that she would miss the fact of having power, but she really didn't want it, she knew that it would eventually go to her head. So she gave it up to her sister.
She still lived at home, or well came home during holidays, and weekends, but Hogwarts was her home while at school. In the next few years she wanted to be Head of Ravenclaw her own house while at Hogwarts. She was glad to be apart of Hogwarts once again, she started out as a teacher just last year, considering that Hogwarts had been closed so before that she was a waitress at the Three Broomsticks, and helping around the Palace, when the house elves went on vacation.
The only thing that made Christy miss home was their pasta night. They would have to have one eventually again. Christy was in the middle of setting up and getting all of the plants and figuring on what from the books they would use. She was floating around the room wings beating softly, as to not move the papers she had strung everywhere. Some days she was neater then others. Classes would be starting soon so she had to get everything together. She was in a pair of Blue jeans, and a purple tank top, it was still warm out, even warmer in the green house.
Christy was busy getting ready that she didn't notice that someone had come into the room.

It was still a few days till classes started but Hayden was getting kind of bored held up in the castle reading every book in the library. He had been to ever place in the castle, but the forbidden areas, because he didn't want to get in trouble by anyone before school even started. Hayden wasn't in his school close as he walked out into the courtyard. He passed a lot of his fellow students all busy making friends and soaking up part of the last little bit of summer that was left before classes and winter came. He didn't mind that summer was ending and fall was coming, or even winter, he was glad to be away from family for a while.
He had heard they had a new Herbology teacher, so he wanted to go and meet the teacher, and possible get a heads up on what they were doing that year, but if the teacher didn't want to say anything that was fine by him, he just wanted to say that he had already met the teacher before the first day of class. He didn't know what to expect from the teacher. He figured it would be male, and he would be old and mean, just like most of the other professors at the school. Hayden walked towards the greenhouses, with all these thoughts of who the professor was, but he would never thought in a million years that it would be a female, pretty, and a faerie to boot.
Hayden approached the door, and knocked, he waited a few moments before knocking again, he could feel someone in there, but who ever it was their mind was running so quickly on what needed to be done Hayden couldn't figure out anything about the person. He opened the door, and moved in saying "Professor, i knocked but..." He paused mid-sentence, because he found an office that was a mess a female professor, and she was a some kind of winged creature. He was shocked in to a speechless state for about 5 minutes.
He didn't know what to think, he was stunned into not speaking. He watched her moved around the room, not disturbing any of the paper work, and books, and other things around the office. He wondered if there was a spell on everything not to move.

Christy heard the voice a child, someone at the school looking for her. She hadn't heard him knock, she didn't even hear him come in so when he spoke she clearly wasn't ready for it. When he said professor, she jumped, and knocked a pile of papers, and books over. "Fiddle Sticks" she said and waved her hand and all of the papers and books were piled up again to were they had fallen from. Some days she was just so lost in herself that she forgot about people. She would have to make an alarm system. She would think of something later, she had a guest.
With a snap of her fingers, there was an empty place to sit, and tea being made. "Have a seat, would you like some tea" she offered. "Its fresh tea, best way to have it" she said with a sweet smile on her face. Her mind wondered for a moment when the fresh scent of the tea took her back home to all of the fresh smells of the food, and the drinks, and oh the flowers. How she missed home sometimes. She missed her family, loud, crazy talking all at once family, she had let them all down somehow by leaving her post as queen, and moved to being a professor at the school. They would never admit it, because they are nice folks, but sometimes she can see it in their faces, which is why she rarely went home to see them.
She remembered that she had a student in her office, but why she didn't know. "What brings you into my office, when classes haven't even started yet" she asked in a polite, sweet, and warm voice. She welcomed all into her office, and didn't mind that some of them only came to watch her work, or even ask her simple questions. Some times she just thought that the older kids just wanted to come in and stare at her, she didn't care, she had work to be done, and if thats all they wanted then she would work with them there watching her. She was relatively young and close to their age so she could understand, she didn't mind, she wasn't going to date anyone from the school, or anyone else for a while because she needed to get her head on straight and worry about other things.
She sat down in a chair across from the child, and waited for him to speak, or do something. She had a lot to finish before the school started up again, and it was really important that she get it done. She wondered who the kid belonged to, what family and house, but she wouldn't ask because that was rude, and something that wasn't important to her at the moment, she wanted to know why he was there.
