Amanda walked into Hogwarts to being her year. She had missed the train because of her mother, trying to convince her to go to another school and not go to Hogwarts. Amanda turned to her father and told him that she wouldn't leave Hogwarts, it was where she felt the need to be and she loved it there, so many people and it wasn't anything like the other schools. Her father understood her, and told her to get her things and they they would be going to Hogwarts together, and that he would drop her off and then go back home. He was just concerned that Amanda wouldn't make it to Hogwarts safely.
They mounted their broom sticks early morning, knowing they needed to be over the muggles before they noticed to much, but they didn't live to far away from the school, about an hour or so. They didn't want to be seen, either so they left early morning, and they reached the school about 10 am. Amanda dismounted the broom and turned to her father who was hovering there and she ran and gave him a big hug and said "I love you daddy" and took off with her things towards the school when she was greeted by a house elf who took her thing to her dorm and she thanked him kindly.
She smoothed out her hair and robes, and walked into the school, and took a deep breath, it had an old worn smell that reminded her that she was home, and there was no more worried, or well they would be left at home, and would not bother her while she was at Hogwarts. Amanda looked around surprisingly there wasn't many people in the Entrance Hall, normally it would be a few students running in and out. She didn't think anything of it, it was only 10 am, and some students would probably be waking up now, or they were all in the great hall where there would be food.
Amanda decided thats where she would go next. "Hello Sir Nick" She said to the Ghost as he passed her. "Ah Miss. Weasley lovely to have you back, Did you have a nice summer" he asked. Amanda just smiled and asked "How was your summer." The Ghost just kinda looked at her and said "Again my Request was denied to join the headless hunt.""Im sorry to hear that Sir Nick" Amanda said and moved along towards the great hall.

Keeley was in the grand hall, or was it the great hall. Oh how this was such a pain, no knowing anyone and not really wanting to be there either she was looking a little sad. She honestly did not mind having this life changing experience, but it was not going to be easy, and who could have a little bit of a grudge that she had to go, and keep her sister out of trouble. She had just finished writing a letter to home, letting her folks know she was okay, and was sorted into Huffelpuff. Not too sure how her dad would take that, after all Weasley’s are always Gryffindors. They always said that the only house driven was the Slytherin, well they did not live in her family.
She knew it was not about the house, and really it was not her it was the parents. So many times she wondered why they where even together anymore, divorce was becoming all too common, why not another one.
She was having a sandwich, just a cheese and lettuce with some potato chips and apple cider. She was in her school robes because she already had her first lesson scheduled in an hour. So much for riding the new student line for a while. It seemed like there was not as much to do, having been on the tennis team before, but no chance of that here. And no way could she play quidditch.
Then Amanda came in, maybe she wouldn’t notice her? She decided to wait and see if she said anything, after all she did not know she was there, and did she really want to get into it yet?

Amanda nearly skipped into the great hall excited to see all the changes, and all of her old friends, but there was a face in the crowed that she noticed instantly, and she didn't want to see that face. It was Keeley her older sister. Amanda got mad, and glared at her, for a moment before moving to her group of friends. Amanda had seen her, she knew it was her, Amanda would write to her father and ask why Keeley was there, she did not like this one bit. She was glad last year to be on her own, but why was Keeley there this year.
Amanda reached her friends and gave them all a smile and tried to ignore that her sister was in the same room as her. They all talked about their summers, and what they did, well everyone but Amanda because she was to busy writing a letter to her father, about why her sister was there. She would send her owl later, so that her father knew that it was from her and that he was only to read it.
Amanda looked up and jumped right in to the conversation about what everyone was taking and about the new teacher and who was dating who and some of the new students. Keeley was mentioned in the list of new students "Oh my" Amanda said when they started talking about her "I hate her, i went to Beauxbatons with her, she is just a pest, and of course she is mommies little girl." Amanda said to her friends not caring if Keeley could hear her or not. Then one of her friends looked at Amanda and asked if they were related. "Unfortunately, she is my sister, the pain in the behind she is." she replied and moved on to boys, and who would be a better choice to date.

Perhaps it was a good thing to just keep eating her sandwich and keep to herself, maybe she could go back to Beauxbatons mid term, because clearly she was not going to fit in here. Amanda ventured right to friends she had made the previous year, nice of her to be so thoughtful. Keeley did not now why her mother made her come, watching over her sister just was stupid when they had a younger sister still at Beauxbatons. Sure thing it would be if next term they sent her over here too. What was up with parents?
Keeley rolled her eyes because, yes, she heard her sister talking about her. It was just wonderful to hear that come from a family member. It did upset her, but she took a breath and tried to let it pass over her. It was just another day in her family, Amanda called her a mommies girl, well she was daddies little girl. Kicked out of one school and still the pride and joy.
She had a lump in her throat as she tried to finish eating. Maybe except into her own dorm, such a good thing they were separate in that matter. Sure she would soon be hearing something about this, and Amanda spinning it that Keeley totally ruined her day but making a scene. No. She was the older sister for god’s sake! She was sure less thrilled about the future days now that Amanda made her position clear.
After she finished eating she cleaned up her area, without any magic, because plenty students used magic. And decided to step over to her sister. “At least we are not in the same house, so don’t fret I doubt we will see much of each other.” She said to her sister. “I have classes already, so I will be on my way.” She added and looked at her friends with a meek smile, “Nice to meet you all.” She nodded a signal of good bye before walking peaceful toward the door.
Her eyes wet with upset, the last thing she needed Amanda to see was that she upset her. She breathed in as if trying to suck back in the tears before turning off toward her dorm for a few minutes to compose herself, and look over her rough map one of the prefects had given her.
(I know it makes it short but it fit the best. Maybe River and sneek into the thread after if you want to keep things going)

Amanda watched her sister from the corner of her eye, she could tell that she was getting upset, but it didn't matter to Amanda. Her food appeared on the table, and smiled and took a drink of her apple juice, and watched her sister clean up her food the non magical way. While her friends talked about how she didn't look much like the rest of the Weasleys. "Well she took after our mother more then she did our father" Amanda said with a mouth full of pancakes, one of her favorite foods they had at Hogwarts.
"Well i should have know that you wouldn't be in the same house, but we might still see each other in the halls and here of course" Amanda said to her sister and watched her walk out of the great hall alone. Amanda could tell that she hated Hogwarts, and that Keeley was better suited for Beauxbatons. Amanda was glad that her classes haven't started yet. Her classes would start tomorrow. Amanda was glad for that.
Amanda sent for her owl now that her sister was gone. "Honey, take this to dad, and dont let anyone else see it" Honey squawked, and Amanda knew that the bird said ok. She would have wrote it in Scottish but did not have the time to, so she kept it in English. With that the bird was off to Banchory, Scotland.
One of her friends looked at her and smiled and then asked for her ferret form. "Oh can it wait i dont feel like some of the house elves and teachers chasing after me for more tricks from you guys" she said and smiled "But if i must, pick me up and i will bite you" she said with a smiled and changed into her ferret form. Everyone loved her form, and decided to pet her and one tried to pick her up and Amanda bit her.
Afterward, she changed back and said "See i told you" Amanda smiled and was glad to have her friends with her.
(if you would like to bring River in that would be ok, if not thats ok too)

One thing that is hard when you erase you memory and replace it with a new one, you can’t help but feel lost at times. River of course just thought she was a little crazy, or something. But then again we all felt that way at times. At least now she had a firm grip on her emotions, well at least she thought so. She headed into the great hall to get something to eat, in fact she was starving. She had been helping out in the hospital wing, they said she was a natural. She was not so excited about it. But one they find out you’re a healer, it is hard to avoid.
As she came in a new girl seemed rather upset as she left. Sure she was missing her family perhaps? However confused River was, she still had a way with people. She remembered everyone, and had gotten a reputation for being able to pin each person to another in the school at some point. Funny really how good her memory was, from when she came here last year mid term.
“Good morning Amanda.” She said, not having been close with her, but knowing her well enough to say a pleasant hello too. She soon saw the similarities and connected the dots of the girl who she had passed, running the names of new students in her head, as she was a little bit of a spy at times, she remember seeing a new Weasley name.
River was a little too curious for her own good, but essentially that was the personality Serenity wanted her to have, confused yet? “Mind if I join? Nice summer?” she slid into the group of students, talking about boys none the less. River was up in the air on that one at the moment. However pancakes sure looked good and that was what she had, blueberry ones though, with whip cream and strawberries! A good ol’ glass of milk to wash it down, Hogwarts was sure going to make her fat.
